A story about the Trapper Family and the Trapper Family camp, a piece of land belonging to a Canadian indigenous family for centuries. The film tells of the family’s coveted tradition of hide making, along with the importance of the surrounding environment and the responsibility of the next generation to continue to preserve it. The film was created by Detour Gold to portray the company’s awareness in regards to the indigenous population found close to their mine-site, and the importance of environmental responsibility. It was used to build a stronger relationship with the indigenous community in the area.
